Management Team
President/CEO: Robert A. Harris
Robert Harris has been President of CLASS/Arc Greater Lawrence since 1990 and had served as Director of Programs from 1980 to 1990. Under his leadership CLASS enrollment has grown from 14 to 500 individuals currently receiving services through agency programs. Mr. Harris holds a Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Administration from Northeastern University.
Mr. Harris also serves as a board officer with the state trade association, the Association of Development Disabilities Providers (ADDP) and is Chair of ADDP's Statewide Day Services Committee. He is also a member of the Arc Massachusetts Council of Executives that represents 21 Arc Chapters in Massachusetts. Arc Massachusetts is the primary state advocacy resource for families who have children with developmental resources.
Chief Financial Officer: Stephen Celi
Stephen Celi has worked at CLASS as CFO since 1994. Steve began his career working in the banking field as an auditor, and in the healthcare industry as a finance manager and accountant. Steve also worked in the high-tech industry for many years in planning and analysis, and most recently, as part of the corporate finance team for a publicly traded middleware provider. Steve graduated with honors from the Business School at Salem State University.
Vice President of Program Services: Jessica Cimini
Jessica has worked in the field of counseling and rehabilitation for over 17 years. She began her career working with youth with disabilities in family counseling and recreational programming. Prior to coming to CLASS, she was the Director of Employment Services for a large agency in Boston, where she worked for 10 years and was responsible for supervising programs that provided services to individuals with disabilities in the area of Supported Employment and Education.
Jessica holds a Masters of Education Degree in Rehabilitation, as well as a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in School Guidance and Counseling from the University of Massachusetts Boston. She is national certified as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, C.R.C. and holds state licensure as a Licensed Rehabilitation Counselor, L.R.C. Jessica is currently serving as a Board Member on the Massachusetts APSE board.
Director of Development: Nancy Kieran
Nancy has been a professional fundraiser and advertising consultant serving nonprofit organizations and independent small businesses for over 15 years. Nancy has worked for such non-profit organizations as Northeast Arc, YWCA, and HAWC as the Director of Development, as well as Summer Street Media, an advertising and marketing agency. As a fundraising professional, she has created and implemented strategic plans to increase annual giving, as well as capital campaigns, that have resulted in millions of dollars raised. Nancy has extensive experience in all fundraising areas, including event planning, volunteer management, advertising and public relations, as well as grant writing.
