Adult Family Foster Care
Help is here.
When the best choice for adults with disabilities is to live at home, their families and caregivers need more support. CLASS designed programs to support you and help you all succeed.
You choose to keep your loved ones home because their personal needs can be met, their interests and personal choices are supported, and they are engaged with their community.
Now what about you?
Caring for an at-home adult is hard work and the financial burden can be intimidating. The CLASS Adult Family/Foster Care (AFC) program gives you clinical and financial assistance to help you care for your loved one with developmental disabilities at home. A qualified caregiver will teach you how to manage everyday challenges – such as personal care, meals and supervision – to give you more time to enjoy the everyday triumphs.
