Arc Services

Through the the Arc of Greater Lawrence, CLASS helps families help each other.

CLASS and ArcGL provide inclusive recreational programming for youth living in the Greater Lawrence community. We bring together youth with disabilities and their peers without disabilities to enjoy such recreational and educational activities as music, arts & crafts, swimming, computer lessons, kayaking, snowshoeing, and other outdoor activities.

This focus on inclusive recreation supports the desire of families to have their children enjoying all their community has to offer.

CLASS provides assistance technologies to those in need"One project we’re especially proud of and excited about is teaming up with the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence to provide inclusive recreation opportunities for kids with and without disabilities. Over the span of several months, the group swam together, did computers, made crafts, learned how to drum, and participated in outdoor activities.”
