Assistive Technology is the
use of devices and/or methods to compensate for functional limitations
of individuals and to increase their mobility, communication and overall
independence. Assistive Technology can be as simple as a walking
cane or a remote controller for your T.V. yet as sophisticated as voice
activated devices and customized workstations.
CLASS Inc. puts on
the Northeast Assistive Technology (NEAT) Conference and Expo every May.
