CLASS guides people with disabilities toward independence and
their places in their communities.
CLASS creates life-enhancing opportunities to increase independent living, social and communication skills, and community inclusion. We promote people’s abilities and work with their families and their caregivers in building an environment rich in community partnerships and new experiences. At CLASS, families and caregivers are directly supported by a professional, dedicated staff offering advocacy support as well as a range of services crucial to their loved ones’ successes.
In Day Habilitation, CLASS helps individuals feel empowered to tackle daily challenges. By collaborating with their support teams, individuals participate in multiple groups and community activities each day, as many as six trips into the community, so your loved one develops the social and physical skills leading to independence.
Whether it's exercise and movement, art, music, cooking, or horseback riding, individuals experience daily opportunities to socialize and work on goals, both at CLASS and within the community. While participants are busy learning and growing, the clinical team is standing by with occupational and physical therapies and speech and nursing supports.
