President & CEO: Robert A. Harris
Robert Harris has been President of CLASS/Arc Greater Lawrence since 1990 after serving as Director of Programs from 1980 to 1990. Under his leadership, CLASS enrollment has grown from 14 to 500 individuals currently receiving services through agency programs. Mr. Harris holds a master's degree in rehabilitation administration from Northeastern University.
Mr. Harris also serves on the board of the Association of Development Disabilities Providers (ADDP). He is also a member of the Arc Massachusetts Council of Executives that represents 21 Arc chapters in Massachusetts. Arc Massachusetts is the primary state advocacy resource for families who have children with developmental disabilities.
Chief Financial Officer: Michael Durant
Michael Durant, who joined CLASS in March 2015, is responsible for the nonprofit’s financial operations and works closely with the executive team to lead CLASS’s business initiatives.
Michael brings more than 30 years of experience in innovative technologies and successful startups in the cellular and broadband communications industries. He worked for LANCity, founded in Andover, the leader in cable modem technology acquired by Arris, the leader in IP, video and broadband technology. There he served in various finance and operations roles, attaining the role of treasurer of the public company. Prior to Arris, Michael worked at APPEX founded in Waltham which was acquired by EDS. Michael began his career at Teradyne in Boston. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Bentley University.
Chief Operating Officer: Alfred Frugoli
Alfred Frugoli joined CLASS in 2015 and is responsible for operations oversight including programs, enrollment, quality, case management, clinical services and transportation.
Al has 20 years of experience running programs for individuals with disabilities, families experiencing homelessness and elders. He began his career as the area director for Seven Hills Family Services in Northern Worcester County, and most recently he was the site manager for Nevins PACE and Adult Day Health Center for Element Care in Methuen. Al holds a bachelor's degree in rehabilitation services from Springfield College and a master's degree in nonprofit management from Worcester State University. He and his family live in Chelmsford.
