Specialized Employment Services
CLASS offers a day program for adults with disabilities who need extra guidance and supports, and need a job to do.
We believe employment is therapeutic for individuals with complex life histories and significant behaviors. Specialized Employment Services (SES) is a highly structured and customized setting with a 1:4 staffing ratio. We provide the extra attention and supports your family member needs to be independent and productive.
Participants arrive at CLASS early and choose from that day's jobs, or they might choose training, such as dealing with conflicts, budgeting, money management, and finding and applying for a job. The staff and a program clinical consultant provide ongoing clinical supports to guide them to success.
Adults in SES are expected to keep to the social contract, to be respectful of one another. Their accomplishments and behavioral or emotional problems are tracked and reported by clinical teams to outside providers at the end of the day.
